PROMOTION-EQ®

The combination of Glucosamine HCl, Bioflavanol, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Yucca, Manganese, and Zinc in ProMotion-EQ® works quickly to restore the shock-absorbing properties of the suspensory apparatus. Many cases of DSLD (Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Desmitis), in particular, have been successfully managed by supplementing with ProMotion-EQ®. Visit the ESAD website for more information on ProMotion-EQ for managing suspensory breakdown.

When compared with the response times allowed for other joint nutrient supplements, often as long as 4 - 6 weeks, the response to ProMotion-EQ® occurs in less than half the time. The unique formulation of ProMotion-EQ® appears to have a more immediate effect on the stiffness and discomfort accompanying equine joint problems. Quality of ingredients and manufacturing could also play a major role in the improved response to treatment with ProMotion-EQ®.

What Doctors & Customers say...

March 23, 2006 - "In February of 2000, I attended the Western Veterinary Conference as a Vet Tech. During on of my trips through the Exhibitors' Hall, I was interested in the ProMotion-EQ product. You see, I had a 16-year old Quarter Horse gelding with a stifle problem. Shadow was having problems getting up after lying down and when being trimmed. I tried the ProMotion-EQ after I returned home and was amazed at the GREAT results in a very short time. Shadow was no longer having trouble getting up and my blacksmith asked what I was doing different the next time he came. Two years ago, I took Shad off the product due to a job lay-off. I took him on a trail ride and didn't realize how bad he felt when he was not getting his ProMotion-EQ. I came home and ordered more, and he has not been off it since. Last July when I went on a week-long trail ride with Shadow, age 21, he kept up with both the Walking horses I ride with and the youngsters all week. Shad is now 22-years old and gets his daily dose of ProMotion-EQ. He will stay on it for the rest of his life. I have recommended the product to many fellow riders and the feedback from them has been positive." - Paula Timm, LVT, Glennwood, NY

May 6, 2004 - "I have been giving ProMotion-EQ to my 17-year-old TB gelding for the past 5 weeks and I am impressed with the product. He has been diagnosed with DSLD (Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Desmitis) and, in spite of our careful management, continued to get worse. When I found out about your product, he was suffering a painful flair up, and ultrasound showed many new lesions. We decided that pasture retirement was best and thought that, at the rate of his degeneration, he had perhaps another year left before we would have to put him down. Lately, his fetlock joints and suspensory ligaments are cool and clean. He has not been on any anti-inflammatory or pain medication for several weeks. He plays so hard out in the pasture, the barn manager and I watch him, flinching with gritted teeth. He gallops, rears and lunges with the rest of his buddies. The barn manager tells me that I have to, somehow, start paying more attention to his exercise needs because he has so much energy. Yesterday, I brought him in and threw my saddle on him and we worked at a big, loose, energetic walk for 1/2 hour. He's a happy horse. Thank you again," - Diane Erwin & The General

"I own an 8-year old Arabian Gelding, Maroko. In October 1998 he broke a bone in his knee in half (while alone in a corral...). Dr. John Harris searched for options on treatment and the couple of cases (involving surgery) sited in books and publications did not offer a lot of hope for a sound horse outcome. We decided to confine him to a small area and let nature take its course. I was resigned to having my well-schooled horse and trail-riding friend be a pasture horse for the rest of his life. Dr. Harris continued to do follow up with x-rays periodically and then heard about a research trial for a glucosamine supplement called ProMotion-EQ. We decided to try the double blind study and hoped to start out with the real thing instead of the placebo. By this time, I had been increasing Maroko's space to allow him to do what he was comfortable with. He eventually went into the pasture with other horses and moved with a limp, but did walk, trot and canter on his own. The ProMotion-EQ seemed to help lessen the limp he exhibited during the healing process. Eleven months after the initial break, another x-ray showed the bone had healed and much of the tissue damage on the front of the knee had been reduced. Dr. Harris said to go ahead and begin riding again. I have been increasing the difficulty of our rides from flat and short to all day, steep, rocky and difficult terrain. He has been taking it all in stride (without limping!) and I believe a part of the improvement has been due to the ProMotion-EQ with the rest of the credit due to his age and the extended rest I gave him. I still get concerned when he makes flying leaps over creeks or logs, but there have been no ill effects and the only remaining sign he had any problem, is a small protrusion on the knee. I intend to continue using ProMotion-EQ from now on to maintain his progress. - Carol, CO

"I have a 15-year old mare that I purchased for pleasure riding about 8 months ago. She had been living most of her life on soft, sandy soil and I moved her to hard rocky soil (more rocks than dirt). She wasn't here long before she became lame in both front legs. We changed her shoes and started her on ProMotion-EQ. Within 4 weeks, there was no more limping, except when tired after riding an hour or so. I have kept her on ProMotion-EQ and now (4 months later) she doesn't limp at all when riding. She is now in regular shoes and doing well. I will definitely keep her on ProMotion-EQ. I am a believer!! Thanks for the great product." - Deb Forster, DVM
